Captures in Time : Maternity and family photos shoot

I love many of the photos that this photographer captured for us, she make me feel good and look nice … .I’m not the petite and pretty pregnant. and I m NOT a make-up person. Those photos she captures really touch my heart and merely make me drop my tears … “such an emotional pregnant lady ya”??. It’s so real and natural , Moments like these are so precious and any opportunity to capture these cannot afford to be missed…. so if you have a baby on the way make sure you get someone to photograph you ,no matter how big you may feel…. pregnant woman - i believe they are all beautiful in their own unique way and you will miss that tummy when it is gone!!! trust me –!!

Too many to share, but I only able to select few to share with you here :

Most photos composition is perfect, Those captured is so cute & "life" .… especially my 2 years old boy, they are instinctively drawn to the tummy and somehow sense that there is a little one in there that is going to love them and play with them and play a special part in their lives!!!

I m so glad that my hubby willing to drive us all the way to those places for photos shooting. Nevertheless his not a photos person , we have to wake up as early as possible to get ready and leave the house at 630am in the morning to avoid traffic jam, to have a nice whether and nice sunny day . Have to find way to wake my lil boy up from his deep sleep & get him to change. How I able to wake my boy up ??? Buy him a new toy laaa ….. u will see most of the photos he is holding his new toys - an airplane .

I m satisfied with the photos and hope to see more nice nice photos for my coming 2^nd baby prince from her … yes is a special package ( maternity + newborn ) especially for preggie mum . Last not forget ….. let me introduce this young photographer Anna-Rina . Maybe some of you might know her or come across her blog . She is GOOD … especially taking wedding & portrait photos . Maybe you can judge yourself by visiting her website/blog .

Pregnancy Update : Weeks 34 & 35 ..... & My HOT Choc Cake!!

I had my pregnancy checked up yesterday,

I'm now have to check and follow up every 2 weeks to make sure everything is alright.
At this moment of my pregnancy @ 34 & 35 Weeks........
Everything goes very well with the baby and mummy.
Thank GOD and i m happy to hear that.
Nothing serious happened to me, i just feel very tired all time .
My gynea didn't mention anything about the baby weight all this while.
& my weight was gaining like a "boom", i m no gaining 12kg in total,
still have 4 more weeks to go ... means more weight to gain o.O
i was worry that my baby was too BIG.
Until yesterday i ask about the baby weight
But surprisingly my lil baby boy was weight 2.5kg only .
Dr say, at the end of the day the baby will reach ard 2.8kg ....
It's even smaller then Jeremy!! Jeremy was born 3.15kg
Dr was smiling at me, saying small baby is good, easy to give birth.
Which is very true. But izit small baby is difficult to take care ???

Nevertheless
We haven decide which name to give to this lil baby boy .
Should start with a "J" ?
Should start with "Jer" ? is brothers .....
Should ask people to "calculate" for the Chinese name?
Should change the middle or the last name for the Chinese name?
I actually have a few names (English & Chinese) in list,
But i cant find the BEST & Special name !!
If the spelling or Character is too special,
We worry people cannot pronounce & read.

Since i was not working yesterday after the prenatal visited.
I baked a HOT CHOCOLATE CAKE .This round i like to share the recipe , cos i think is worth a try . It's Nice & easy!!
Original Recipe :

• 1 3/4 cups flour
• 3/4 cup cocoa powder
• 1 1/2 tsps baking powder
• 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
• a good pinch of salt ( i ignore this)
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• 3/4 cup skim milk ( i dont hv, so i add more milk)
• 2 tsps vanilla essence
• 1 cup of chocolate milk (I used milk)
• 2 cups of sugar (I add only 1 cup)

1. Pre-heat the oven to 350
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, the skim milk, vanilla and the oil until cooperated.
4. Bring the chocolate milk and sugar to boil, keep simmering when you're doing the following steps.
5. First to combine the flour mixture with the egg mixture, then pour the boiling chocolate milk in, (you have to do the next very quick), use a mixing spoon or a sturdy whisk to blend everything. Immediately pour the batter into a baking pan, send it to oven right away.
6. Bake it about 35 minutes. Check the doneness by inserting a toothpick in the center of the cake, when it comes out (almost) clean, the cake is done.

A Matter of Taste : 我自己亂配的

ehhh .... still baking ah ??
Ya wor, cos i still have some left over baking ingredients .
If i leave it till i m free later, surely it get expired & end up have to throw .
I already throw some away ....Wasted lor, as baking ingredients is not very cheap .

Why i said 我自己亂配的 ( cincai do recipe)
Cos i put in whatever i have in this cupcake/Muffin .
Don't know should name it Cupcake or Muffin.
Recipe : Flour, Wholemeal Flour, Butter, mix dried fruits, brown sugar and others ...
But it turn out soft, strong wholemeal taste and SWEET !!
Abit too sweet for me.

But ... still cant finish the left over ingredient lei ...

Rewards Time

I wanna to blog & share about this post last week, but I forgot about it ….. until this morning Nanny told me YOUR BOY BEHAVED QUITE GOOD RECENTLY !! As a mother, I m grinning from ear to ear … cos nanny seldom praise my boy, all this while she been complaining about my boy & I myself do noticed the changed in Jeremy few weeks ago. It’s that means, he is ready to become a big brother ??? Of cos I cant expect him to behave super good and 100% well behave at once. Cant deny he still have misbehavior and moment that is very hard to handle. But little by little improvement is good enough for me.

Jeremy started call himself “kor-kor” :P , cos we been telling him alot about the lil brother . We just wanna him to know that we love them both equally and let him know he soon will be come kor kor and time to share and love each other. I know when real life arrived, whether he can accept or not is another story , but at least we tell him and prepared him for the new arrival. I believe sooner or later he will understand .

He also behave quite well in the music class . Every time, when we came back from Music class, papa will ask me, how’s Jeremy doing ?? I answer … “Not bad at all, consider good liau” …. Consider good means he is good already, he can become worst and i do come across the worst and very difficult time in the class .

Another good behavior that I wanna to share here , My boy seldom Throw things now !!! Well, still throw , but been improve a lot recently …He will keep his toys back after played !! He love his toys now !!

When come to think about all this lil change … It’s really make me so HAPPY !! Keep my finger cross and hope for more good news from my boy.

OK… rewards time for JEREMY ….Since he started to love and keep his toys, so we also started to buy him toys … some still in the boxes, thot to rewards him from time to time when he behave good.

He love his red air plain, He can hold the plain to sleep every night :P
(once the kid love a toys, they will well keep and appreciate it)

I think this wooden toys is till too young for Jeremy,
Still keep it and wait for the right time to award him.

As he love to draw and sketch, i bought him a mega sketches board.
I been teaching him to recognize words by using sketches board too rather then fresh card.
It's work for him .

Daddy bought him 2 sets of Matchbox toys set .
One played and One Keep.

Jeremy love trains too, so we get this toy sets from Ikea.I bought this from WHS . It's 60% off.
I like to get toys from MATCHBOX, cos is long lasting, especially for boy like mine.
Another army trak from JUSCO sale, still in the box.

Some of the toys is keep and like to give it to him during his coming 3rd birthday this October, I know i be busy handling a new baby and might not have time to go shopping and hunt for toys, so what ever we see any WHS or SALEsss .. i will buy and keep for futures and reward time.... hmmmm. ... am i planning toooo ahead and think so much ... hahhahaha.... I DO !!!

A Matter of Taste : HOT BUNs

I started to pack and store my baking tools yesterday ,
I guess i m too lazy and too busy to bake during this moment of time.
I guess i won be "touching" my Oven for at least ... many months ....o.O
So... before i packed , i give myself a try on baking some Hot Buns.
They turn out quite well ... but still something not right with the bun... abit hard !!
