We had a short vacation to Langkawi on the 3rd to 5th July .
It was a nice trips for the whole family & the J Brothers.
Except the raining day :(
Yup, it was raining over the 3 days while we where there.
We miss out many of the places ,
Especially the Langkawi Cable Car .
It was closed due to bad weather .
But is alright, we still manage to have Island Hopping and Mangrove Tour .
The boys enjoy the elephant ride.
It was expensive for 10 minutes ride that cost us RM80 with a free 5R photos.
But seeing the boys enjoy and happy .... is worth :)
The boys also enjoy the boat ride .
We visited the Lang Dataran .
We rent a boat for 2 days ,
Activities including Mangrove Tour :
Visit floating modern fish farm and local fish farm,
Visit the Bats Caves (Gua Kelawar) where you will have the chance to experience one of the freakiest experiences of your life!
Also visit The Gua Buaya, which means Crocodile Cave,
is a unique cave through which the Kilim River actually flows.
Heavy rain while we were at the fish farm ....
All wet .... but fun .
Can u spot small J ???
Yes, he was sleeping and cover with the rain coat i wear.
You will have a wild time hand-feeding the stingrays.
After the Mangrove tour,
We had a fancy day for Langkawi Island hopping.
We head to Dayang Bunting Island to see the Lake of the Pregnant
Maiden,
where you can immerse yourself in warm waters, shrouded by a
green tropical forest
Legend has it that women who cannot conceive need only take a sip of
these cool and refreshing waters before she is blessed with a child.
In actuality the hills that form the backdrop of this lake shapes an
outline of a pregnant woman lying
on her back – which is probably the
real reason for its name.
On this tour you will also get a chance to see the magnificent king of the skies – the Eagles.
The day eventually winds down with a visit to ‘Beras Basah Island’ –
or Wet Rice Island –
another beach with crystal clear waters and
sweeping views of the ocean.
The small J miss out the beach water play ,
As he was too tired and fall asleep .
Transported back to our hotel for a little rest and relaxation after island Hopping & play.
The boys was tired and fall asleep ... :)
We had visited most of the tourist attractions during this limited time and missed out a few due to the weather. We will come back again for more .... :)
Good bye Langkawi and thank you Air Asia for making this trip a lot more affordable for us :)
We manage to get a 0 fare air tickets last year.
5 Adults and 2 kids cost us rm400 for the flight ticket (2 way) , cost is for tax & some others surcharge :)
As for the Shopping Tours at Langkawi .
We bought back lots of yummylicous chocolates.
I thot i be carrying back some bake ware or cookware !!!
But sadly, i m not ......... perhaps next trip ..
That's all for the time being .

It looked like a splendid trip for you and your family. I am sure you came back and started your routine with all the batteries recharged.

ReplyDeleteCultures have taught people to prepare popular types of ethnic foods. There is constrast in texture and also contrast in taste from one to another and usually people eat with their eyes. It is only when you taste the foods that you can confirm what you see. Antique to Astrology, Bread to Baskets, Clogs to Clans or from Cosmetic to Costumes, Fashion to Food, History to Heritage … to Zodiac Study, Jonker Walk is waiting for you to expose her. The old and the new, the bad, the good and the ugly. ReplyDeleteZoom in to Jonker and share with your friend if you have been there; also share with your friend if you have not been there. Many have yet to discover its’ beauty. Thank you. Have a nice day.
